Downloading the Tournament Program

(Initial Installation only)
Do not install this file if you already have the Tournament
Program loaded on your computer because it overwrites the Name/Address file and
seeding files. It will wipe out your existing names/address you have set
up in your Tournament Program. If you are upgrading your Tournament
Program to the latest version use the Upgrade version below.
Step 1: Using Windows Explore, create a folder on your hard disk (Drive
C) entitled C:\Darts (Right Click Start/Left
Click Explore then single click on the "C" drive in the left column to
select it. Click on File/New/Folder in the menu on the top of the
screen. The new folder appears in the right pane. Rename this new
folder to C:\Darts. )
Step 2: Click on the above link to Download the Dart Tournament program.Zip
file. Save it into the C:\Temporary folder.
Step 3: Open your WinZip program (or another unzipping program), browse to the C:\Temporary
folder and unzip (extract) the Dart Tournament Program.zip file's contents into the C:\Darts
folder.
Step 4: Using Windows Explore, browse to the DartTournaments.exe file in your C:\Darts
folder and double click on it. This opens the tournament program.
Step 5: If you wish to place a shortcut icon on your desktop, using Windows
Explore, right click on the DartTournaments.exe file in your C:\Darts
folder and select "Create Shortcut". Drag the newly created
Shortcut up to the "Desktop" folder at the top of the left column
listings. The Shortcut should now appear on your desktop. To rename
the Shortcut: Right click on the Shortcut on your desktop and select
"Rename". Change it's name to something like "Dart
Tournaments". If you wish to change the picture that's on this icon,
Right Click the icon and select Properties. Click on "Change
Icon" and then Browse to the C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll &
moricons.dll folder. Select the icon you would like to use. Click on
"OK" then click "Apply" then click "OK".
Upgrade Dart
Tournament Program.zip
(Upgrade your Existing Program only)
Install this file overwriting
your existing Dart Tournament File (C:\Darts\DartTournament.exe) or
(C:\Darts\Tournaments-A.exe) only if you already have the Tournament
Program loaded on your computer. It does not have the starting
Name/Address file so it will not overwrite your names/addresses that you already
have entered. It does not contain the Seeding files, like the original
installation does, which are necessary to have the Tournament Program work
properly.
After installing this upgrade you may have to create a shortcut to it using the instructions in Step 5 above because I changed the name of the Tournament File from "Tournaments-A.exe" to "DartTournament.exe" and your old Desktop Icon will still point to the old program.
